Funded by the 1851 Royal Commission the RAEng 1851 Enterprise Fellowship graduate scheme forms part of our shared commitment to stimulate excellence and encourage creativity and innovation in engineering by identifying and supporting the graduate founders and leaders of tomorrow’s successful companies.

The Enterprise Fellowship graduate programme supports innovative, creative entrepreneurial graduate engineers who have demonstrated an exceptional innovation in engineering which they want to develop further.

The programme focuses on equipping the awardee with the confidence, skills, experience and network of expert advisors necessary to enable them to develop their innovation.

The Fellowships provide:

  • £50,000 equity-free funding
  • Tailored mentoring and training
  • PR, marketing and promotion from both the RAEng and the 1851 Royal Commission
  • Access to the RAEng drop-in workspace in central London
  • Become a part of the 1851 Royal Commission community and have access to our vast alumni network
