1851 Royal Commission announces new fellowship in Regenerative Design
The 1851 Royal Commission is delighted to announce a new two-year fellowship with the fundamental objective of enabling contributions to Regenerative Design in the built environment.
The Commission seeks not merely to lessen the harm of human development, but rather to put design and construction to work as positive forces that repair natural and human systems. This may be through research and innovation in regenerative design, in the development of beneficial techniques, or through research and innovation into techniques for adaptation and transition to enable the built environment to be a force for good.
The Fellowship is worth £50,000 per year. Applications are welcomed from post-graduates, researchers, practitioners or professionals on a career break. Candidates should be UK based aiming to carry out research over a 2 year period culminating in a milestone output of significance.
