Sabrina Tan

A recipient of the 2024 Industrial Design Studentship, Sabrina is conducting research on material traceability within supply chains at Imperial College London and Royal College of Art. Her work focuses on circular economy, smart cities, and community engagement, and she is currently exploring data-driven solutions to enhance the resilience and sustainability impact within silicon chip manufacturing.

Beren Kayali

Beren is the recipient of the 2023 Royal Academy of Engineering Enterprise Fellowship Award, manufacturing innovative flat-packed, rapidly deployable concrete water tanks. Her low-carbon emission infrastructures are creating climate resilience for vulnerable communities and aid disaster relief scenarios globally.

Giulia Rubino

Giulia is a recipient of the 2023 Research Fellowship studying photonic quantum technologies at the University of Bristol. She is pioneering the development of integrated photonic devices designed to reverse the effects of quantum gates without requiring their prior characterisation, striving to minimise complexity and errors in quantum computing.

Guy Turner

Guy is a recipient of the 2023 Industrial Design Studentship, pursuing a Industrial Design Engineering double-masters with the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London. With ties to the consumer electronics industry having developed 5 launched products with Dyson Ltd, Guy's research focuses on the future of urban air quality and filtration technology. He aims to continue developing novel approaches to raises awareness to air quality and improving public health for urban citizens.

Brad Collier & Dr Kumaran Rajarathinam

Brad and Kumaran are conducting a joint research on Interdisciplinary curriculum design in engineering integrates diverse fields like Mechanical, Electrical, Mathematics and Design, to cultivate well-rounded problem solvers. It fosters collaboration, encouraging students to tackle real-world challenges by drawing from various disciplines, enriching their understanding and innovation in engineering practices in preparation for work readiness.
